Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December. Members receive an annual subscription to the Section's publication, Context; regular updates of events and information on an email network; and opportunities to attend lectures and organised visits to view collections and exhibitions.

Annual membership rates for 2008: $45 waged; $25 unwaged.
